College of Medicine Federal University of Dutse (FUD) has gotten accreditation to run Medicine and Dentistry Course.
This means that Federal University of Dutse (FUD) can now admit students into the department of medicine and surgery and Dentistry and these students will be recognize as certified medical Doctors upon graduation.
The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Nigeria’s professional health regulatory agency for the professions of Medicine, Dentistry, and Alternative Medicine accreditation panel visited Federal University of Dutse ( FUD) College of medicine in December 21&22, 2021 and May 27, 2022 to check if the school was fit to run Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. T.A.B Sanusi, Registrar of MDCN stated that the visitation panel report was satisfactory and he congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo for the successful accreditation.
The Vice Chancellor thanked the management, staff, and students for their cooperation and support throughout the accreditation period, especially the Provost of the College, Professor Muhammad Sani Mijinyawa, and the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Sanusi Chinade, who expressed their appreciation to Allah for the outcome of the MDCN accreditation exercise.
